A will is probably the most basic document you can utilize in order to start organizing your estate.   A will can be as basic or complex as you wish or your estate demands. At the very least, a basic will will go a long way to keeping your estate out of probate and lowering your estate's legal expenses

A will however, is just one of things that no one wants to talk about or execute. Either your too busy, too young, too poor or, just don't know who to leave your "stuff" to. 

Our advice is to not leave it to the courts to decide. They probably don't know you that well.  
Either say you leave everything to your current, or future partner, or trusted friend. You can give them broad discretion in how you want your assets distributed.  At least a friend will have a better idea of your interests.
